Half Blood Prince

I cannot believe that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has been moved from November 2008 to July 2009!!!!! It makes me mad too that the studio is doing it just to make more money.

Goddard LaunchFest

I just found out that NASA's Goddard Space Center's community day is Sat. Sept. 13th. The center is open for families between 10am and 4:30pm so I plan on heading over right after my ultrasound (probably around 10:30). We'd love to have people come with us/ meet up with us there. Ultrasound

Being the impatient person I am with things like this, I've decided that waiting until October to find out the gender of the baby is just not going to work for me. I really wanted to find out before we go to Disney World so that I can do some baby shopping while were there. So I made an appointment at one of the 4D ultrasound places to find out sooner. They don't actually do the 3/4D ultrasound for a gender determination but assuming the baby cooperates, I'll find out if I'm having a boy or girl...YEA!!!!!!! If anyone wants to come along I can bring 5 additional people besides my family. The appt. is for Sat. Sept. 13th. at 10am, its its here in Columbia, and it only takes about 10 min. Kids are allowed, but do count as one of the five.

Finally a new blog

Okay, so I'm not the best blogger. I've wanted to take some new pictures all summer, but since we still haven't been able to unpack from our move (it's been almost two months) thanks to many unexpected projects including having to replace all the flooring on two levels of our home do to excessive cat pee, I can't get to my camera charger. But Cami did take some really great pictures of Matthew today with her camera. Thanks again Cami for letting me and the kids crash your house all week. How I've missed carpeting and furniture =). It's been tough trying to get all the work done when Zack only has off work every other weekend. Hopefully, we'll be able to at least have a couple rooms done after this weekend.

DISNEY WORLD!!!

We had such a great time on our trip, and a much needed break from our usual hectic schedule.

Summer Vacation...better late then never

I am so excited, we are finally leaving for vacation Friday morning. We have been attempting to get down to Flordia for a week since April but due to Zack's work schedule, kids activities, and finances, we haven't been able to go until now. This will be the first time that we drive there and not fly. We couldn't get are usual $35 a way Southwest tickets and so in an attempt to save about $500 were going to try. Hopefully the boys won't get to restless and cranky. I'm going to be bringing the dvd player, lots of snack, and some toys. Any ideas for things that have kept your kids entertained on long car trips will be greatly appreciated.

White Water Rafting Trip

Well I survived my first trip away from the kids. I did have a little panic at the end and asked my mom to take the kids with her to the beach for the weekend. It worked out great because the kids got to go some where and didn't feel like I was leaving them. Eventhough 70% of my trip was driving, I still had a fun time. In the last picture you can see the 20 foot rock that some of us jumped off into the water. I almost chickened out after I looked off the edge from the top. At one point my helmet got trapped under the raft and someone had to jump in and get it out. The kids did good with my mom. Matthew got so worn out from the beach that he fell asleep at the dinner table the first night.
